Branding
This is the branding for my film channel, called Asika Productions. This is named after my surname, Asika. For my logo, I designed a clapperboard in Photoshop because I wanted it to resemble the nature of what I want to pursue a career in which is filmmaking.
Photo Hosting Sites - [Instagram]
I have used Instagram for my photo hosting site because it is a great way to reach out to other people in the industry who have similar skills and interests as me. In my first Instagram post, I have included hashtags that are related to the post. I did this as a way for people in the same media field to connect to me and to see the work I do.
It is evident that my hashtags were effective as, based on this data, I have reached out to 34 people who are currently not followed to me. This figure is more than the 12 followers that I have reached which implies that people who are not following me have also engaged with my content and found it relevant or interesting, thanks to the use of the effective hashtags. This suggests that the hashtags helped to increase the visibility and discoverability of my posts, reaching a wider audience beyond my current followers.
With regard to profile visits, I have attained a surprising figure of 137. This figure is really good as it proves that people are engaged with the content that I do, as I have a lot of profile visits. Even though I did not gain any followers from this, it is still good that this many people are still discovering me.
Out of the 14 followers I have, I am only following 7 people, and these are not people who follow me. I've followed Disney, 20th Century Studios and Sony Pictures because they are film studios, and they match the career I strive to pursue. I followed Netflix because it covers both Film and TV, which are sectors that I want to pursue in the future.

This is my portfolio website. Regarding contact, I have linked my social media pages here. This method is an effective networking method as hiring managers in this sectors can see my work through social media and they also have the option to keep in touch with me if they are interested in wanting to work with me.
This is my LinkedIn site. I have added a picture of myself and also a picture of editing. I did this as I wanted my profile to reflect what I aspire to be. I have added my education and my volunteering experience in my page as this will show networkers that I have sufficient experience in the industry and the passion that I have towards it.
YouTube
This is the YouTube channel that I have created, called Asika Productions. I have uploaded a video of one of the works that I have done. The video is a solar system animation that I made in After Effects. I uploaded this because it was a great creation that I made which will introduce viewers to my channel and let them be impressed by what I do.
Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms out there; therefore, it was important that I create my account there so I can be noticed for the work that I do.
On Twitter, one of the ways that the audience finds someone is to include hashtags. I incorporated this by adding hashtags on my first tweet which are relevant to my post.
I am also following the relevant studios that are popular within my chosen sector on Twitter.
TikTok
I've also made a TikTok account as I knew it was popular amongst the younger audience, alongside a diverse set of audience based on the content uploaded which deems this platform as a great source to upload my worm and grow my audience.
This decision was effective as after I uploaded this, it has gotten almost 900 views and 103 likes in total. Meaning that this platform is a great way to help my content engage a wider audience.
Maintain Contacts
Here is a contact that has gotten in touch with me to express their satisfaction with a lyric video I've edited. They wanted me to tell them how I made it as they wanted to become good at it. This shows the influence I have on my contacts that are trying to make content like me as they feel inspired to create something visually engaging for their audience.

I can confirm that all my contacts from all my social media platforms are either from people that I know and/or in business with or that they are mainstream film studios.
